I have a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences from an R1 institution, and have years of experience in biomedical research, writing, and editing including technical articles, reviews, grants, and blog posts. I have edited documents for my colleagues and peers, as well as personal statements for graduate applications, and now work full time as a medical writer.
