Reduce The Word Count Of Your Content

About:

I will shorten your document by up to 15%. I've found that applications and essays often require specific word counts. If you need to cut to a specific word count I can usually do that too - however, let me see your document and the word count so that I can send you a custom gig. Although, I will usually correct English as I read your document this is not a proofreading gig. Shortening a document requires different skills to proofreading and it's difficult to properly do both at the same time.

I was extremely skilled at shortening documents (aka precis) during my GCE O' levels and suspect it was one of the reasons I obtained the top grade in my 'O' Levels. Since then I've continued to use the skill in my proofreading gig. However, I thought it would be more useful to provide a gig that focuses completely on shortening documents.

I do offer proofreading and copyediting as an extra to this gig. However, it will take more time as I will have to go through the content again with my proofreading brain engaged!
